Business Management excursion

On the 29th of October, two business classes attended an excursion to States School’s Relief to learn, help and donate to the very worth cause. The students attentively listened to an inspiring speech, where we learnt a bit of ‘behind the scenes’ information and action on what the charity aims to do. There we came to the realisation of how fortunate we are and the advantages on offer at McKinnon. This really opened up our eyes and we were so eager to give our aid and cooperation as we strongly believe in this prosperous organisation.

After the introduction, we continued to their warehouse where we were lucky to see the workplace where kids lives and opportunities are dramatically improved. Both classes got physically active and did some volunteer work helping to package, move and store parcels and more. Overall, the whole experience gave us a valuable lesson in both understanding the unique service as well as appreciating what we have got and the beauty of helping others out in our community.  We would like to thank Mr.Fernandez for organising this event and teaching us about being socially responsible.
