Year 9 Music excursion
On Tuesday the 2nd of December, 16 excited and enthusiastic performance students from the Semester 2, Year 9 Music Performance Class, made their way to Claremont Terrace to perform for some local residents. On arrival, the pleased and smiley faces of their audience warmly greeted them. After setting up their equipment, the afternoon began with a whole class performance of the ‘Star Wars Main Theme’. This was followed by small group performances assembled and arranged by the students themselves.
The afternoon concluded with a meet and greet session, where the students introduced themselves to the audience and heard stories of the audience’s own music background. The concert was enjoyed by all who attended.
I would like to thank Ms. Papworth for her attendance and I would like to thank the Year 9 Music Class for their wonderful performances.
