International students lunch

The annual international student welcome back lunch was held on Thursday 5th February. The lunch provides an opportunity for the college to welcome returning students and the 23 new students who have joined us this year. As almost all students had been overseas, back home, over the holiday it was a great chance for students to catch up socially and for new students to meet other international students facing the same situation as themselves.Mrs Binnion addressed the students and warmly welcomed them to the college and set out some expectations for the year ahead. Students also got to meet a large number of staff, including Student Managers, Associate Principals, EAL teachers and various other college personnel.
Lunch this year was Japanese Bento Box catered for by Shyun in Carnegie.
Students are looking forward to a successful year of study at McKinnon and the opportunity to enjoy our wonderful city.
