McKinnon's Senior Boys Cricket

The Senior Boys Cricket team rolled into King George reserve on Thursday 11th February for the annual round robin day to decide the Kingston Division Champions.

It has been a while since we stumbled at this stage in the Senior division and 2016 proved to be another walk in the park as the boys blasted all opposition aside to remain undefeated and take home the pennant.

Best players on the day were Cale Hirschman with his usual swashbuckling batting display hitting 88 runs in his 4 innings off 40 balls at an average off 44.

With the ball it was superstar Shubs Bhargave who proved elusive with his little tweakers picking up 5/32 for the day, including 4/3 against Bentleigh.

The boys will be back in action in the next round of the competition on the morning of the school formal day but luckily all their beauty appointments have been re-scheduled to the afternoon.
