Su Oh at the Olympics

Brace yourself McKinnon. As if sitting back and watching Aussie athletes competing in the Olympics wasn’t exciting enough, well now we have some of McKinnon’s very own to enjoy in Rio.

Su Oh, class of 2014, represented Australia in the Women’s Individual Stroke Play (Golf) over 4 days beginning at 8:30pm AEST on the 17th August.

Su Oh, the 20-year-old from McKinnon, leapt 22 spots in the women's Rolex Rankings after her tied-eighth finish in the Women's PGA Championship, the LPGA Tour's second major of the season, near Seattle.

Su, the 2014 Australian Ladies Masters Champion, is the world No. 40, and for the first time ever, is ahead of Australian legend Karrie Webb at No. 53. Perth's Minjee Lee, at world No. 13, will join Su in the two-person team.
