On a scorching, windy 38 degree Monday morning, seven keen tennis players (along with James Johnson completing work experience) headed out to Bentleigh Recreation to play the matches of their lives against Parkdale. Their talent shone bright and clear for all to see as they battled their way into numerous victories of 6-0. The girls demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship throughout the day, each withholding the morals and virtues of a pro tennis player!

A huge thank you to Mrs Hooper and Mr Krause (photographer) and James Johnson (talented court bagging / watering). 

However, in the words of Rafael Nadal “If you don't lose, you cannot enjoy victories".

The McKinnon A Girls Tennis team will move on to compete with the one and only MacRobertson Girls High on Friday 28 April in the SMR Finals. 

Congratulations again to the awesome seven - Jessica Zivin, Kathy Lee, Mia Lopez, Emily Riordan, Anita Zhao, Lucia Roohizadegan & Keeley Dang who are proud winners of the Kingston Pennant.
