McKinnon SecondaryCollege excelled again lastyear.  This is a credit to all theteachers, students and parents who support the ethos of excellence and academicpursuit.

Our Dux last year was Angel Gu with anENTER (Equivalent National Tertiary Entrance Rank) of 99.8 - an outstandingachievement by a most deserving student.

In fact:

• 210 students completed Year 12. 
• 100% successfully attained their VCE.
• 64 students achieved an ENTER score above 90.
• 112 were ranked in the top 20% of the State.

McKinnon was ranked third in the Statefor non selective secondary schools - a wonderful achievement from the Class of2007 and a gift for our dedicated teachers and our supportive parents.

A gift earned by tremendous endeavour,enthusiastic dedication, discipline and a strong belief in achievement and the valueof learning and education and the positive difference this makes to ones life.

188 students applied for atertiary place.

180 received first roundoffers.

84% were university places.

14% were TAFE.

I wholeheartedly congratulate theClass of 2007 who used the educational opportunities here at McKinnon to theiradvantage and also applaud the teachers for their guidance and support of thosestudents.
