THE MERC

In the early days of December 2006, construction commenced on the MERC building and it was opened by the federal minister of education at the end of 2007.

It accommodates 125 students at a time (half a year level) in an Information Technology rich environment. The design allows students to work in both small and large groups as befits the task. The Year 9 BYTES program has been specifically developed for this complex.

The MERC was financed by the Leading Schools Fund.
