Bursars' Mailing List Hosted by McKinnon Secondary College |
|
The home of the mailing list for school bursars to discuss issues, ask questions and whinge to each other. WHAT IS A MAILING LIST? A mailing list is like email but many people get the email you send to the one email address. By sending an email to bursars your mail will be sent to all the people who have also subscribed to the mailing list. In this way, you can email one address and all the others in the mailing list will get it. You can discuss issues, give help to people, ask questions, get answers and generally keep in touch. It's quicker than fax, cheaper than mail, and easier than travelling to face-to-face meetings, and - unlike the phone - you can send documents and files to the entire group as email attachments. Now you don't have to battle GST and CASES alone. You can safely delete messages you are not interested in: they are not deleted from the mailing list. If you need to find a message that appeared a while ago, a complete collection of all messages sent to the list can be found at http://www.mckinnonsc.vic.edu.au/listserver/bursars/threads.html. This link appears at the end of every message sent by the mailing list. There are about 100 subscribers to the list. Please point other potential subscribers to this page (www.mckinnonsc.vic.edu.au/bursars) so they can join the club.
