Graduation Ceremony Introduced by - Mrs Pitsa Binnion, Assistant Principal 31% of McKinnon SC students were ranked in the top 10% of the state. 55% of our students received an ENTER score above 80. 73% of our students were ranked in the top 30% of all students. More than 93% of students were in the top 50% of students in the state. 50% of all grades achieved were either A or A+

To Martin Heymann Martin received Academic Excellence awards each year from 1997 to 2000, then subject excellence awards for: Geography Units 3 & 4 General Maths Units 1 & 2 (while in year 10) English Maths Methods Chemistry Economics LOTE - Korean Units 1 & 2 LOTE - Korean Units 3 & 4 Maths Methods U3 & 4 Specialist Maths U3&4 He also received: the Monash Award for being the top year 11 student in 2001. The Enhancement studies prize for the top student in Enhanced Literature at Monash University high distinctions in all the Maths, Science and English competitions he entered from 1997-2000 He also: was top student in English in Victoria in 1999. came third in Australia in the 1998 Geography competition, and he was first in Victoria (4th in Australia) in 1999. received a high distinction in the ADVP Economics competition of 2001. Martin also represented the college in: the Middle School band, Wind Quartet, Orchestra and Symphonic Wind debating, from 1998-2002 The International Student Project in Melbourne in 1999 and Greece in 2000. Fundraising for charity at sports days. Martin started his Unit 3 & 4 VCE studies when he was in year 10, achieving an A+ in 16 out of 18 assessments. From a maximum possible score of 50, Martin scored: Geography - 45 Literature - 43 Chemistry - 47 Math Methods - 50 Specialist Maths - 48 Korean - 35 This gave Martin an ENTER score of 99.85 Congratulations, Martin!
