The Yirrakala Community Band

During a special assembly of students in years 7 to 11 on Thursday 17 July 2003, the Yirrakala Community in the Northern Territory returned a visit paid by McKinnon music students two years ago.  Organised by Mr Orr, the Yirrakala community, and the University of Melbourne, the Yirrakala students did their first performance of their tour at McKinnon Secondary College.  After the concert and a morning tea, the visiting students were shown around the college by McKinnon students.
