Japanese Visitors

Glen Eira council has a sister city in Japan called Ogaki, east of Tokyo. A group of seven students and two staff from various high schools in Ogaki are being hosted in Australia for one week.

The visit to McKinnon SC on Friday afternoon was hosted by Mrs Hooper and the year 8 hockey girls.

The McKinnon girls enjoyed teaching the Japanese students the art of playing hockey on our wonderful (!) turf on the top oval after an enjoyable lunch and a school tour.
