1st Place team was McKinnon with:

GIRLS U16

2nd place team was McKinnon with the following students making it through to Southern Zone, as individual runners:

GIRLS U14

1st place was McKinnon with:

    - Madeline Begala (2)
    - Heidi Begala
    - Stephanie Ostrouska
    - Alex Lee


GIRLS U13

3rd place team was McKinnon. The following girls have made it through as individuals:

BOYS U13:

3rd place team was McKinnon. The following boys have made it through as individuals:

    - Aki Nakajima (5)
    - Adam Coplov
    - Max Gawn

BOYS U14

McKinnon was the 2nd placed team. The following have made it through as individuals:

    - Joshua Ricketson (2)
    - Dylan Elkman
    - Ben Kennedy

BOYS U16

McKinnon team came 2nd overall. The following have made it through as individuals:

    - Daniel Begala (4)
    - Michael Ryde
    - Brendan Creaser
    - Ruben McMahon
    - Stefan Voorham

BOYS U21

McKinnon team came 1st.
The team consists of:

    - Simon Buckley (2)
    - Felix Kennedy
    - Will Nougher
    - Mark Weerdenberge
    - Simon Te Hennepe
    - Sam Teague


Overall Results:

Both the Boys and the Girls came 2nd.

But the overall Grand Aggregate was won by McKinnon!!! (that means we came first).

Congratulations to all involved, it was a fantastic day.

The teams and individuals now go onto the Southern Zone competition on Tuesday 20th July, at Lardner Park, Lardner. (Between Drouin and Warriagul).

Southern Zone Cross Country Report

Think mud, think constant drizzle and more mud and that's Lardner Park!!!. In typical cross country weather our 38 students gave it their all at the Southern Zone Cross Country held on Tuesday 20 July. All girls plus the junior boys ran a tough 3 Km boggy race. The U16 and Senior Boys ran a gruelling 5 km in mud slush and cow poo.

Final Results indicated our students' endeavour

U21 Girls Team – 72 competitors

  • Rani Tisseverasinghe – 2 nd
  • Dalija Jovanovic- 19
  • Daisy Fotopolous – 26
  • Kahlia Chapman- 43
  • Michelle Grima –46

This team came 3 rd overall and Rani and Dalija will run as individuals in the State Finals

U21 Boys Team -81 competitors

  • Felix Kennedy – 7 th
  • Sam Teague – 14 th
  • Will Nougher –32
  • Simon TeHennepe-34
  • Mark Weerdenberg – 39

This team cam 2 nd overall and Sam and Felix will run as individuals in the State finals

U16 boys team – 111 competitors

  • Brendan Creaser – 14 th place
  • Michael Ryde – 32
  • Reuben McMahon – 51
  • Daniel Begala – 55

Brendan has won his way through to the State Finals

U16 girls- 105 competitors

  • Simone Ostrouska – 14 th
  • Emily Ryde – 25 th ( just missed State by 1 second )
  • Eleanor Gerrard – 65th
  • Megan Stewart – 66th

Simone has won her way through to the State finals

14 girls – 124 competitors

  • Heidi Begala- 16th
  • Stephanie Ostrouska –25th
  • Alex Lee – 45th
  • Alex Garde –46th

This team came 3rd and Heidi has won her way through to the State Finals

U14 boys – 132 competitors

  • Joshua Ricketson – 21st place
  • Ben Kennedy – 73rd
  • Michael Farthing – 77th

Joshua has qualified for the State Finals

U13 girls – 125 competitors

  • Stacey Binnion – 26th (missed out on State by 1 second)
  • Shara Tisseverasinghe – 30th
  • Alex Anthony- 49th

U13 Boys – 100 competitors

  • Aki Nakajima – 36th
  • Adam Copolov- 62nd
  • Max Gawn- 66th
