Tribal Chants

Ms Papworth had an idea for the year 8 music students. Create competitive tribes from the 10 forms and get them to create and perform a tribal chant using instruments, voices, movement, costumes and dance.

Congratulations to all the tribes for your wonderful performances at the chant-off. You have shown a lot of creativity and have worked very hard to put it all together. The results go towards the end-of-year shield. Winners in each category are:

· 8I for the chant

· 8J for the movement / dance

· 8G for the instrumental accompaniment

· 8A for visual impact

· 8D for whole class participation.

The overall winner was 8F. Fantastic effort!
