YEAR 10 BUSINESS MARKET

On the afternoon of October 20 th, 50 Year 10 Business Studies students experienced the market capitalist economy first-hand. Greed was indeed good for some, as spectacular profits were made. Alas, as in the real world, there were losers as well.

Activities included various stalls selling a variety of consumables, “throw the water bomb/pie/anything else at Daniel Willis”, and a good time was had by all. Even the rain (mainly) stayed away!

Congratulations to all the students involved, to the Year 7 Students & Teachers who were the customers for the day, and to others who helped with the afternoon. Thanks also to the staff and students who supported the earlier market held on a bright and sunny day in term one.

Mrs Dekretser, Mr Glenister, Mr J Evans
