During the term 1 holidays, 25 students forming the Senior Stage Band, accompanied by Mr Orr, Mr West, Mrs Pryor and Mrs Binnion, traveled to Central China to perform at the first Chengdu International Youth Music Festival. Our talented students performed exceptional well and the band was awarded the honour of representing the international schools with an additional performance at the closing ceremony on Easter Sunday. The staff and students were treated to 12 days of incredible sightseeing and culinary delights and were special guest spectators at the annual water releasing ceremony in Leshan, an event which was televised nationally throughout China.
