The opening of the MERC

On Friday 2nd November the Hon Bronwyn Pike, Minister for Education and Early Childhood Development opened the McKinnon Exploration and Research Centre (MERC) at 12.45pm.

The MERC is a $1.4m project funded 50% by the Department and 50% by the School Council. It is an outstanding facility and will benefit McKinnon students and staff greatly.

The accompanying media also took the opportunity to get some footage of our students pretending to sit the English exam that had just finished, and to talk to some of the students.
