Year 7 Evening 2009

On the evening of Wednesday 11th of March 2009, the parents, teachers and students of year 7 met for cheese (but no wine). They'll have to wait until their children are in year 12 before they get a drink.

There were music items to begin - the Year 8 band, then Year 8 string orchestra. Then was an address from Principal Binnion; the announcement of Year 7 Form captains and the presentation of badges by Mr McLeod; and speeches by Student Managers Mrs De Kretser and Mrs Sargent.

Parents then went to the see the (lovely!!) Form rooms, and to meet teachers & other parents. All then went to the MERC for more talking, drinks and nibbles. Peer Support leaders were on hand, helping out for the evening.
