LOTE

• The College runs classes in French and German from years 7-12. All students are required to study one of these LOTEs through years 7 and 8.
• All LOTE courses are sequential over two semesters. Students have 3 periods per week in years 7, 8 & 9, and 5 periods per week in years 10, 11 and 12.
• Students who fulfil the College’s criteria for acceleration may be permitted to study a LOTE at an advanced level.
• Wherever possible, classes make use of learning technologies to vary and improve their learning experience.
  LOTE classes have priority use of a classroom of computers and students make use of multimedia applications in their learning. The College has a high-speed connection to the Internet, allowing more students to simultaneously and speedily access the World Wide Web for the completion of specific LOTE learning activities.
