World Day of Prayer

On Friday 2 March, 60 students met and rehearsed at the Bentleigh Uniting Church in time for the World Day of Prayer service held at 10.30am with a focus on Suriname (on north coast of South America).
The McKinnon Choir processed in with ‘Sikiliza’, an African welcome song. They led the hymns with the attendees and finished the service with ‘Lovely Day’ by Bill Withers. In the middle of the service, the Senior Singers performed Rutter's ‘For the Beauty of the Earth’. The students conducted themselves very well and added great music to their service. Many said it was the best part of the service.
