Year 7 Girls Super 8s Cricket - State Finals

Congratulations to our Year 7 Girls Super 8s cricket team who participated in the SSV State Finals on Tuesday 27 November. On the day the girls participated in three matches against Bairnsdale SC, Springside West SC, and traditional rivals Balwyn HS.
In the City v Country Derby in Round 1, the girls from Bairnsdale were too strong with the bat as they coasted to an easy victory. However, the girls bounced back smashing Springside West SC and Balwyn around the park to finish the day with two wins and 3rd place in the State.
Well done to all the girls in the team, and special credit to our team leaders Casandra Joseph and Aspen Lehmann.
