Continuing the Tradition of Excellence

McKinnon Secondary College has a proud tradition of academic excellence and inspiring young people to achieve in all fields. Since 1954 the College has served the community by providing a rigorous educational program matched with a wide range of extracurricular activities, to develop students’ talents and prepare them to contribute to society.

The generous support of parents and ex-students (through the Thistlelonians) has enabled us to upgrade the educational resources of the College. The Alan Lawrence Lecture Theatre, our gymnasium and the music facilities are examples of the excellent facilities we can provide when supported by members of the McKinnon community.

The School Council and all staff are committed to the ongoing development and refurbishment of our school. By making a tax-deductible donation to the McKinnon Secondary College Building Fund, you can assist us to provide the modern facilities our students deserve.

Architectural Plan

We are excited to announce that we are building another gymnasium on the bottom oval. We are fundraising for this exciting opportunity.

Years ago we did a fundraiser for our Lecture Theatre and allowed families to purchase bricks. This opportunity now exists for the much needed 2nd gymnasium. The number of characters allowed on a brick is 17 per line with a maximum of 3 lines.

Bricks will cost $120 per brick (This will be a tax deductible donation).

I thank everyone in advance for their generosity and support.
