General Assembly 11/3/2015

The Second General Assembly of the year took place on the 11th of March. The Assembly was opened with the National Anthem performed By the Senior Stage Band with Vocalist Emily Holding. The Senior Stage Band conducted by Dmitry Serebrianik then performed Count Bubba by Gordon Goodwin and Vehicle by Jim Petrik.
The 2015 Senior school captains Allira Lignos and Matt Mahoney led the assembly. Mrs Binnion then welcomed the school with the principals address.
Callum Lloyd, President of the student representative council then discussed his important role for 2015. Many awards were presented in the assembly including, the sports awards who were presented by the Chisholm house captains, Jack Highnam and Casey Lockton. The age group winners of the swimming carnival were also presented by Jack and Casey. Mrs Sweeney then presented the Science Olympiad awards and Ms Kuriata presented the peoples choice award from the 2014 art show.

Jessica Osburn then promoted the upcoming theatre studies production which will take place on March 25th at 7:30 in the lecture theatre.

The assembly was then concluded by Mr Evans.
