Victorian All Schools Volleyball Championships

From Friday the 29th to Sunday the 31st of July McKinnon Volley sent 9 teams to the Victorian All Schools Volleyball Championships. The teams competed with excellent teamwork and sportsmanship during the testing three day event with the best result coming from the experience of the open girls who finished the tournament with a silver medal.

Many thanks go to the teaching staff, parents and former students who supported the teams during the event. They were David STREHLAU, Lauren MAUGER, Kellie DICKSON, Ray BRANISKA, Liam ADLINGTON, Paul KING, Chris HUDD, KIRBY MC CONNON, Phillipa ANDRIEUX, Nadia ELKIN, Fraser RHIND, Michael SKALOVA, Hannah COLE, Darcy TAIG, Maree TAIG and Ellie ADLER.

McKinnon as a school finished the tournament as the 10th ranked school in Victoria jumping 2 places up the table from 12th overall in the 2015 event. This was an outstanding effort for all participants who were competing against specialised school volleyball programs from around the state.
